I imagine that’s what most people think of someone starting a thread about a young lad, who has spent time at a decent academy about to join our club.

All about opinions. Not everyone is banally positive and neither should they be. You’ll see that it’s not a view widely shared if you view the replies.
Taking the time to start a thread and writing ‘FFS 18’ without knowing anything about the player is absolutely clueless.
You know it. I know it.
‘Being positive’ is a nonsense comment too. Most sane fans will be open and intrigued. And certainly won’t want to rip a kid apart.
