The money it cost to sign Ogle and the renewal of Barrows contract should have been put on a capable GK and a CB.
Whoever ends up coming in will need to also shift Smith and either one of Hurst or Jones out to sign two right wing players.
I’m edging towards moving Jones on in Jan if possible. I don’t see any point really in having Jones and Brennan for the left wing slot as both will more than likely be on a fair wedge. Jones has done ok and looked good in flashes, but on the whole has been disappointing.
If we could maybe get a small fee for him and move his wage out of the club, I wouldn’t be dead set against it. Keep Brennan as main man with Hurst as back up.
