I think there was a cult vacuum left when the other Daves left and it’s been filled. I’ve no reason to speculate on his character but those who suddenly become very prolific shouldn’t dodge or mock a bit of scrutiny. Nor should they be insulted and abused by fellow fans. It’s all too familiar I’m afraid.
