One must commend the rather splendid jet washing — a truly admirable effort. However, one cannot help but observe that the broader endeavour amounted to little more than a rather vulgar exercise in masculine posturing, serving principally as a vessel for Mr Stuart Maw’s quite considerable ego.
Perhaps he might consider returning to his former vocation of retrieving canine excrement from the streets of Winterton — a pursuit for which he appears admirably suited, given his apparently boundless reserves of energy.
One is reminded, of course, that this is the very same gentleman who issued threats to remove the club flag from his residence upon being denied a ticket for the Hereford away fixture. The sheer sense of entitlement on display is, frankly, quite breathtaking.
