There was no segregation. We travelled down ( or was it up in railway parlance) by special train, I think there two of them. I was sat near the half way line. At least one of our number was sat on a loose chair near the touchline, Nigel actually sat on his knee at one moment and lathered him in mud. By the way it was the same day that George Best scored six at Northampton. Scunny fans were singing ‘Fertiliser, Fertiliser’ to the Swindon fans. After the game we were pelted with coins at Swindon Railway Station, I was picking them up !! Don’t remember much else, sheer joy when we scored. UTWI
