The subs weren’t the issue – as soon as we took the lead the all the players ‘declared’ just sat back and assumed Solihull had given up. Suddenly Whitehall is tired and stopped running, midfield didn’t make a tackle, defenders do what they best at present stand a stare.
It was a poor ending from professionals!
Positives were Farrell – he had good ball control and could go past a man
Whitehall focused on football. (The red was for Solihull was deserved)
Ewing was back to making tackles again and getting around the pitch
Roberts showed he really is class – give him the contract he wants, if we have genuine ambition.
