If it’s such an amazing pool of talent perhaps ask yourself why those players are there and why they continue to be there? You also make a huge assumption that they’ll play for peanuts but don’t seem to entertain the real possibility that they might have an income threshold they need to meet and if any offers aren’t substantial enough, they quite possibly need to look at alternative careers that remunerate them sufficiently for their needs.
