I must admit to being disappointed with the way we’ve gone about business after the season finished; real feel good factor around the club and we just had more home Fans inside GP for a game in its entire history. We should have been hammering sales as hard as we can- instead I know of 3 people personally that had to wait a fortnight for an email back after expressing interest in a season ticket, one of them hasn’t bothered now. Not good enough.
I understand it’s time for people to go on holidays etc, but this is the time of year we make our hay for the rest of the year- it just feels like we aren’t quite tapping into the interest enough.
Lincoln absolutely nailed it when they rode the crest of the wave after their Fa cup run and promotion. They doubled crowds in a season and have created a legacy that will probably last for decades.
