Quite possibly Rene as it seems even though he started great at Gatesheed hes been out injured for a few months something i wasnt aware of.
all hypothetical of course but re his departure .. probably down to money but possibly AB thinking having Butterfield around may be a threat to his position in the future if things went pear shaped .. common knowledge JB was looking at going into coaching.
Regardless how things have gone this season im sticking to my guns re we would have been a better team with JB and DE in it.. especially if Elliot played as he should be.
Would you swap Elliot for Beck Fish and/or Charlton ??
