One big lesson from ‘the Harness era’ is that it’s clearly going to take more, from everybody, for the Club to survive and prosper. That means more than just your match ticket, more than just your replica shirt etc. Many give a great deal already (by way of their volunteering, say), but many others don’t contribute anything meaningful.
I have to add, after everything we’ve been through it’s disheartening that there are still some people (including on here) who consider themselves as supporters but actually their relationship with the Club is strictly transactional and business like, all the time: “Why should I contribute, what am I getting for my money?”
