The fc100000 guy did show an absolute lack of understanding regarding football fans. Actual football fans, like the core at Scunthorpe United, who will turn out again despite whatever disappointment occurs. Yes we will moan and we’ll complain but in the end we will keep supporting .
Are the 100,000 subscribers (assuming they could be found) going to keep paying if we finish 17th one year, are they going to cancel if some player misses a penalty in a playoff match which ends the season ?
One thing this whole debacle has shown is that Scunthorpe United have the number of actual supporters who could make a difference if it’s steered in the right direction.
