He sure likes Putin’s authoritarian style and seemingly wants to emulate it. The biggest hoot is demanding Ukraine have elections, while under martial law (because they’re at war) and the poor logistics for it. The same reason Churchill postponed elections in the early 40s, and he wasn’t derided as dictator (rightfully so). Though, it’s a hoot given Russia poisons political opponents of Putin and hasn’t had a free and fair election in eons.
