Really enjoyable first half; started with an intent to our mark in the game with that crunching tackle that started the move for Whitehall’s disallowed goal. Game then killed off after 20 minutes.
Hopefully that eases the pressure off Butler and the team and they can now start putting more of the same in. Thought Rowley made a big difference in there, especially linking up with Roberts, hard to fault anyone really today.
The pitch is in a mess though, not even had much football played in it during the last month and winter hasn’t even kicked in. Could end up a quagmire.
Fingers crossed for Barrows aswell, not sure if the pitch played a part but it looked a nasty one.
