For some it will be because they ignore all that because they think he can end abortion. They are willing to turn a blind eye to or deny his vulgarities, his abusive behaviour and unChristian aspects so they can see an end to abortion. Getting rid of gay marriage and other liberal measures brought would help with them too.
It’s why some also see Russia as a bastion of Christianity, despite its authoritarianism, weakening on domestic violence laws, imperialism and war upon others for Putin’s thought that they should be under Russian control. They punish gays and liberal thought and that’s enough for some.
Of course I am talking about a subset of Christians, as there are many who don’t think like this.
