We’re lacking goals and creativity, Roberts gives us both. Butterfield’s stats last season were remarkable (even when he slowed down)and Roberts this are good. I can’t see Williams being fit long enough to get any consistency and if we get £80k for him (just a guess) then another year in this league will cost double that when fans lose patience.
What I don’t understand is where are the loanees? We were told the squad would be supplemented with loan players, have we had any? Would be a bad move to let him go unless it’s silly money being offered.
