Forget board interference, as Deerey and CBRP say, it never ends well. It’s as good as a vote of no confidence in the manager at which point the writing is on the wall and we should just part ways. Desperate times and desperate measures may be true Les but we do have the ability to eradicate the (main) problem by getting rid of the manager who is responsible for the formation, player selection (square pegs round holes) and the style of play. I’m convinced someone could make a fist of it with this team. No doubt there’s a cost involved in sacking Butler but is that cost greater than the revenue being lost by those no longer showing up to matches? I’d be surprised.
