Yes it’s very strange when an ex professional footballer with over 600 career appearances, professional coaching badges and a wealth of professional football knowledge gleaned from well over 20 years in the professional game doesn’t realise he’s getting it wrong, whereas a group of well intentioned football fans with I’m guessing no professional based knowledge of the game whatsoever save observing the game over many years can.
