Doubt we would have seen the inaction we have over the last 3/4 weeks needing the squad strengthening. Better to try and fail than not to try at all.
The ground’s ‘sorted for him’ because we have owners that made the effort and succeeded and not one who didn’t bother and made excuses with nonsensical, supposedly insurmountable, barriers that Michelle managed to navigate in a matter of weeks. Also, we are reduced on debt precisely because we have owners that care now. Bring Dave back and they will stack up again, as will the CCJs and the club will be at risk once more. But hey, maybe we get a new player for a few months before it implodes, which is obviously more important than having a club.
