Can’t disagree with the above; 6 defenders on the field is pretty much surrendering a chance to take a positive foothold in a game.

Don’t want to see Evans in midfield again, he’s had a go but it doesn’t work. Really think we have to start thinking about changing the centre of the park, looking too lightweight in there at times and so often second balls pass us by. Rowley/Brogan must be close to a start.

Pre-match I thought Whitehall’s inclusion may be prove pivotal and it became so, despite Beestin’s best efforts we looked woefully short up there. If the groin strain flares up during the week I’d be tempted to look at a short term loan.

Wing backs both had poor games too, caught in between positions at times and left us too narrow. S’boro to the their credit exposed that left side a few times which ultimately led to a goal.

One of those afternoons where you take your medicine and move on; this result has been on the cards and small changes have to be made to get us back on track; certainly nothing to drastic on what has been a very good start to the year.

Jimmy Deans main failing for me was that he didn’t have a clue how to motivate a side or adapt when things weren’t going our way; it is now Butler’s turn to see if he is up to the test.
