I would like him to be able to pass, and hold up the ball. I am not saying he is useless, his goal and role in the last goal shows he has worth, but for the first half and the first 20 minutes of the second half he was a liability. Anonymous until later, disrupting the flow of our attacks with rubbish passes or getting easily managed out of the game. It’s not a matter of him being ‘rubbish’, he isn’t for this level at all, it’s just a critique based on what I thought was a poor performance until around minute 65. He has good aspects of his play (e.g. finishing), but some frustrating ones that were hindering us a lot until the last part of the game. At least in my opinion.
