A lot of dissatisfied conservatives, mostly. I have huge issues with Reform, including its many dodgy candidates (like the guy who called black people savages) who are undoubtedly racist, but I don’t think everyone voted based on similar racist reasoning. Of course this rhetoric will appeal to the racists who voted for them, but I don’t want to tar them all like that.
Before anyone says anything, I take the same view for others, be it Corbyn fans or SNP, neither of which I agree with and have made that clear. I don’t think all Scottish nationalists or Corbyn fans liked them for troublesome reasons, but because they thought it would be the best for the country.
