After Hilton, it’s good to have some scepticism about the intentions of those involved. With Elliott, he made a fool of himself with Hilton, including making grandiose claims about how he knew Hilton had the money when he obviously hadn’t. Fans trusted him, so went along with it, and he used this to dismiss and demean those who had questions. I can forgive the majority of fans for hoping that the owner had good intentions, but Elliott went a step beyond. At best it creates doubt in his judgement and his actions were bound to create suspicions that he is out for himself and just interested in boosting his own prestige. He should have known better. There’s no point being so vitriolic about it, but I have less trust in his judgement now.
As it is, he is just a bit part of the board and I hope and doubt Michelle is being swayed by him, trusts her own judgement and gives equal thought to input from Roj, Sharp, Akther et al.
