If you stick with him and go in to the season with a smaller and weaker squad due to the budget – if you are mid table after a couple of months… then what are you going to do?

a) stick with him to the end of the season… “he’s a nice guy”

b) sack him.

Changing managers in a season ain’t the best of practices. A rushed, limited choice appointment would most likely be made.

The new chap would take time to assess and to get to know the players and as we’ve seen so many times in the past, would want his own players bringing in.

Better to have the disruption now and give the new chap a chance to select & shape his team in pre-season.

Jimbob has had the opportunity to show us what he’s about.
a)One up front
b)players deployed out of position and unbalanced
c) lack of cohesion and continuity
d) too much chopping & changing
e) what’s his best 11, I don’t think he knows.
f) awful substitutions which are ill timed and ill thought out
g) poor tactically with no plan b and unable to muster and redirect his troops in the heat of battle.
h) favourites / unfavored
i) terrified of losing to the extent that we struggle to win games against village / community / works teams.
j) doesn’t want to entertain us with bubblegum football [ lol ]
k) will not entertain a bog standard 4-4-2 as he thinks it isn’t hip / cool / groovy / trendy and he wants to be thought of as a forward thinking modern coach.
l) what level coaching badge does he posses? UEFA A, UEFA B, L2?
m) he possibly got the job as he may have been known to WHAM previously?

So, stick or twist?

He’s not my cup of tea, never has been and never will be.

If they decide to keep him, then time holds the answer.

The £100,000 promotion bonuses – I always wondered… ‘is it cheaper to remain in this league than be promoted’.

If we’re 12 points clear by Christmas- then this seasons directive may have been to “do well, but not too well”
Keep them happy, keep them hoping, keep them paying!
