I’ve nothing massively against the bloke but I can’t understand where all this ‘he’s a really nice guy’ stuff is coming from. Based on what?
Speaking with supporters most games in the exec lounge and allowing the players to be more accessible; Offering the chance for younger supporters to train with the players; refusing to accept the gofundme money unless the players received their share; working for 2 months without pay or expenses.
Probably lots more anecdotes this year but these spring to mind.
