What if the rules were changed so that Premier League teams competing in Europe during a particular season were excluded from that season’s FA Cup competition?
Clubs could lobby for this, surely?
Or are we, essentially, talking about a handful of Premier League clubs (the usual European competition suspects) being so greedy that they won’t let the revenue from a handful of FA Cup matches go, at the expense of everyone else.
