It is usual with the Iron and any other professional club that season ticket holders are given a period to buy a ticket for their normal seat or standing area. Any seats or spaces not claimed can then go on general sale.
Yes, that’s fair enough. I suppose with the on-sale window being so tight, the best the club could do is reserve season ticket holder’s seats for the first day of sale and then put them on general sale.
