FWIW, I think the requirement not to sell tickets in advance imposed by the league is a daft one, I don’t see the point. Especially when FA Cup ties have often been sold with an unknown opponent pending a replay.
But equally a couple of days to shift 5,000 tickets doesn’t seem that tight given most folk will be doing it through an automated online system.
