That ref last night is supposed top be based in Lancashire and who are 4th, Chorley also based in Lancashire ?. It does make you wonder whether bias played a part.
The ref is also an assessor for the F.A and is the head assessor for other all the other non league refs in the Lancashire area.
My jaw nearly hit the floor when I discovered that. To disallow that goal last night in my opinion was more than just incompetency, he saw something which didn’t even happen. It’s surely impossible for a ref to a get a decision so wrong and just chalk it down to a human error.
