Mainly pub crawling round town Awaywego, The Wortley ( Jigsaw Disco which was crap ) Priory, Ashby Star and Brown Cow, both long gone but not forgotten, Cocked Hat, Polish Club, Henry The Eighth ( The Crosby ) and The Sherpa of course. Watched a lot of visiting bands there, remember one called Purple Sand, a three piece dressed in purple suits, pretty good though, did a mean version of Quos Sweet Caroline. Even did the folk club occasionally down at The Berkley on a Sunday night I believe it was, where I got my love of playing acoustic guitar.
