It is clear to all that he needs to go however, as many others have stated, finances may dictate the outcome of that
Dean has 3 or 4 months left on his contract so I can’t envisage costing a great deal to pay him up. I suspect sending Beestin and say Barrows out on loan will pay for it.
Cliff, I’m not sticking the boot into Jimmy as I’ve said before I like him as a person, but you can’t escape the fact this job is too big for him.
There’s still a cost though, along with Plummer and potentially bringing a replacement in. People mention Butler but he’s part of the coaching team that is failing to get a tune out of the players and has no experience.
You was also desperate for new players to come in when it could be argued they weren’t needed- another significant cost for us.
All I advise is people take a step back and try to look at the broader picture, if Dean loses the next 2/3 of games it will be clear that the position is completely untenable and he has to be paid off, however in our current financial state i’d prefer that to be the absolute last option.
In an ideal world we could limp through to summer and regroup, whether that comes to fruition is anyone’s guess.
