As I’ve said before, he’s a nice fella but unfortunately for all involved, was appointed into a role that exceeds his ability. He was never going to be the answer for us and I often wonder why Hilton appointed him just as Nelson was getting a tune out of the squad last season.
It is clear to all that he needs to go however, as many others have stated, finances may dictate the outcome of that. The club found itself in a very precarious position earlier this season, and it looked to all that the club was days, if not hours, from oblivion. Luckily the club was saved from the very brink of extinction. The board have worked tirelessly to get the club back on a stable financial footing however, there may not be enough coffers in the bank to support paying up Dean’s contract early.
