I would have personally subbed Beestin for Pugh and took Wilson off for Whitehall and gone 4/3/2. Beestin shouldn’t even be starting in CM never mind out wide, he’s not match fit.
Beestin started looking laboured at about 30 minute mark, he chased one ball down the right and looked like he was wearing lead boots but somehow had a spurt of energy and won the ball which was mind boggling but he looked on his last legs even then.
Poor sods been out over 4 months and we have Ferris back and a fully fit Pugh so no idea why he’s even risking him right from the off. This kind of stupidity is what causes players to break down again. Absolutely no excuse why he can’t give him 15 or 20 mins here and there and sensibly get minutes into him that way like we did when he eased Roberts back.
