Leaving the transfer of The stadium and land to Coolsilk, which no one was happy about, to one side, and I know this isn’t going to be popular, but Swann made a deal with Hilton based on good faith, ‘proof of funds’, passing the supposed ‘fit and proper’ test and his recent involvement with Ilkeston Town. It needed to be a quick deal and went ahead on those assurances and on face value looked like the best option. He and we as supporters welcomed it. He and we weren’t to know. If there’s a way forward with Swann’s help to remain at GP or go back to it in the near future we might be better served not sticking the boot in to him.
