The ground situation seems even more up in the air though ,whether he has the money or not is irrelevant as he will not now even attempt to buy the ground as he has confirmed the club is up for sale .
If no other buyer for the club is found the club is effectively homeless , and no long term plan for anywhere to play (Hilton himself said the council pulled out of funding for the new stadium in one of his more recent statements )
So where does that leave the iron , playing at Gainsborough indefinitely ?
