The Athletic wouldn’t make an allegation without any kind of evidence, because it could lead to a libel accusation. Hilton will likely respond with accusations against the journalist and deny vociferously, but if it’s untrue he needs to take it to court. Regardless, this does nothing to counter my concerns about him at all and am worried about such a character owning the club. Name changes for personal reasons was always a questionable reason.
