I think in fairness to JD the Whitehall substitution was to change things round up front because after the penalty miss ( which was a poor one and the follow up tap in he blazed over was even worse ) he just became poorer by the minute. Several missed chances and falling over his own feet when put through to score didn’t give the manager much choice, he had to change it.
