I actually spoke to Mark briefly when Hilton first took over. He had nothing but good things to say in regards to Hilton’s time at Ilkeston. The only shadow cast was the ground development plans being shelved for a couple of reasons.
Mark is a Hilton cheerleader but I’ll cut him some slack. Not that long ago, he sadly lost his first wife, Nicola to breast cancer at a very young age.
I don’t have an issue with people who happen to have a different opinion, but I do have an issue with liars, fantasists and generally those who wish to rewrite history for their own reasons.
