Personally I think someone at Coutts is more culpable than she was and should go.
I’ve thought alot about that gay wedding cake issue. The Baker was targeted to make a point. The message on the cake, as I remember, was ‘Support gay marriage.’ My view is that Govt should leave space for different and conflicting views. I don’t think, for example, a strongly atheistic Baker should be forced to make a ‘Jesus is Lord’ cake if he doesn’t want to. A private business isn’t the same as a Bank ..especially one partially owned by taxpayers. There’s not enough give and take nowadays..especially from social activists… and it’s not necessary.
