I am a bit disappointed there hasn’t been an apology from you, Peter. I don’t want to rub it in, but after promising so much, we were left as a laughing stock on the verge of going under.
That said, I think supporters should approach this situation with an open mind as to who is at fault for the current situation. Hilton’s blither about renting the stadium to himself does not appear to make sense, and the 1899 scheme did seem a bit suspect. Hopefully we won’t get any more nonsense about how those with concerns are relying on social media rumours now. This was the case and looked like it was the case since the new stadium announcement. Yet to worry was sacrilege for some.
