All very confusing this. I thought Hilton said the reason for the takeover for the stadium and land taking till end of May was due to legal processes and checks etc? So I can only assume there was a problem identified along that process and not a financial issue? I expect we’ll have full clarification tomorrow night. Should clear up a lot of confusion.
I don’t think you’re far off the mark there.
Worth remembering this deal was rushed through to save the football club. There was nothing left in the pot and we were going bust.
Due diligence has been done the wrong way round but that was the position Hilton was in.
Hopefully tomorrow is the start of some honest dialogue between the club and supporters. The amount of NDA’s surrounding the club is probably the biggest culprit to why we are all paranoid wrecks.
