Throughout my working life I saw SO many mission statements. Sigh.
Trite, misleading, mealy-mouthed mantras, restrictive, inaccurate, false and often trying to impress with words rather than deeds. Some that made sense – but always in the minority.
Many churches now have them too – cheesy, for the most part.
