Can’t speak for Deerey, but it’s all rather tedious. A complex issue drilled down to soundbytes to please those who feel morally superior, while getting to demonise others as being akin to one of the worst groups in history. All for laugh, so it’s all ok, such dramatic comparisons can therefore be ignored.
It’s their right to do that, of course. If people want to laugh at that, I couldn’t care less; it’s humour that appeals to people of one viewpoint, but it’s hardly going to appeal to those who don’t subscribe to that viewpoint or see it as irrational or wrong. I have my right to switch off and not pay attention to such hyperbolic drivel.
