he was never a left back IMO but he could slot into left midfield and be a temp left back in an emergency
Said the same for years. Look at what he’s good at and what he’s not good at his strengths lines up more with a winger.

Athletic, hard working and gets around the pitch

Tends to be Positionally poor e.g Losses his man and get’s dragged out of position
Not the most strongest and can be bullied at times
Good enough defensively though to add cover to a more defensively sound LB. I think he’d flourish on the wing. Another important thing about him is that he doesn’t get injured too often either.
I think we could do a hell of a lot worse then him and plus he’s versatile as he can play in CM at a push too.
