it will in my opinion disassociate our Club from our town and supporters. I wish we had gone down the route of a Scunthorpe United phoenix club owned by Simon and Ian, staunch fans who have our Club at heart, not another property developer.
This snowball will continue to gain mass.
I hope Mr E & Mr S already have a Phoenix contingency plan drafted.
I’d rather watch New Scunthorpe United playing in the NCEL than travel 70 miles to watch Ilkeston Iron play in EFL L1
