Dean should have taken Butterfield off and brought on Elliot and gone 4/4/2. I know he’s not done much since he’s been here but Elliot hit 6 in 8 for Gateshead and yet Dean only seems to play him out wide.
Too negative for me.
Give him till end of season and then bring Nelson back in. Let’s face it, we were playing better football under Nelson who had considerably less resources.
Struggling for goals and yet Elliot can’t seem to get a sniff. I thought our 4-1 win was the turning point but now suspect that was a one off.
I just don’t think Dean is good enough. Tactically he’s absolutely woeful and that won’t change.
Nelson was miles better. Not a fan of Dean at all. I hope Hilton swallows his pride and reinstates Nelson.
