I would love Bennett to be the new Torpey ( but I guess these days without the elbows ) and the reason some of our fans slated Torps, well it’s all about opinions as usual but in mine, they just didn’t get it. Watch the game for 90 minutes and see what some players actually do, Brian Laws best comment IMO when asked about Torpeys contribution in one particular game after he’d been receiving stick was ” ask their centre half”, followed by ” he won every header he went up for ( 12 I believe ) and won every one”. Lots of people didn’t get Torps, lot of people don’t watch football properly, again IMO.
