Elliot or Carver when he is fit I assume are there for that role. They are certainly not lone front men. I know neither are likely to be 20 goal a season men but let’s face it you don’t find them for buttons if you are bottom of the National League.
Personally I would stick Wilson up there with the big man. He is too quick and clever for most centre backs at this level. Shields and Ferris either side to provide crosses and Bunker and Shrimpton to hold in midfield. Play it wide when it’s on and play it long when it’s not.
Ogle and Leake to get forward at every opportunity to support the wide men. 4-2-4 with the ball and 4-4-2 without it. Give it a go FFS.
