Siderite – Just finished the lengthy podcast on Peterson. Surely no one could disagree that what he does is art? I’m reminded of David Lynch films hearing numerous clips being analysed. In his style of delivery. That’s where the appeal, the seduction comes in I reckon. Same with Brand. And that’s fine, as subjective art. Start plying it off as some sort of truth (with the occasional ‘I might be wrong’ feeble disclaimer) and it doesn’t stack up. I can understand why many buy in to him and why many are wary or reactionary to him, particularly as he’s evidently a right wing Christian who doesn’t have a problem with those ideas but is ferocious at stamping down left wing ideas
