The reported “price tag” from the current owner seems reasonable (£3.5m plus £1). Meaningless unless the current owner leaves the club debt free. Who pays the taxman, the mortgage on the ground, the EFL loan, the loan that covered Novembers wage bill and god knows what else we dont know about. Seems to me the £3.5m is what Swann is trying to walk away with. From what we know of the liabilities incurred under the current owner the real sale price could be double what is being quoted.

For a National League side virtually nailed on for relegation that is clearly ridiculous.

Seems to me buying the club from the Administrator is the only way forward.
