Bucks, you can’t agree that companies are still making obscene profits AND argue that they have to raise the tariffs to cover costs.
If they are making big profits they can afford to keep the tariffs as they are or even lower them.
My electricity provider sent me an email today informing me that the unit price is going up by 2p again in January.
Are they doing it because they’re hard up? I doubt it! It’s because Ofgen says they can.
